Skinkissed Vitamin C Serum

I love skincare and I’m always up for trying new things to see how they’ll work on my combination skin. I’ve taken a liking to serums in recent years because of how they feel on the skin and all the amazing benefits they all have. I’m especially in to serums these days since they’re great to use before a jade roller.

Lately I’ve been using the Vitamin C Serum by Skinkissed. I took it with me on vacation and it was so great because it helped keep my skin healthy while away and also the bottle is so compact that it’s easy to travel with! The bottle is glass though so I kept it in the bubble wrap that it came in to put inside my toiletry bag just to avoid any accidents.

The bottle is a sleek dark brown with gold lettering and the serum is dispensed via dropper. All you need is one drop to take care of your whole face and neck! Use it morning and night before your moisturizer. It is so lightweight and sinks in quickly so you don’t have to worry about it feeling too heavy under your other skin products or feeling sticky or oily.

According to the brand:

“Our serum’s formula is based on ancient beauty ingredients that will nourish, enhance and leave your skin glowing. The ingredients of our Vitamin C Serum are:

Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen and Rose Water.

The ingredients used in our Vitamin C Serum have been used for centuries to achieve natural and healthy skin, but it is only now that we have finally brought all these unique ingredients into one small bottle.”

Benefits:

  • improves wrinkles and fine lines
  • removes acne scars and heals prone skin
  • plumps and hydrates dry and dull skin
  • repairs and smoothes sensitive, dry or mature skin and boosts radiance
  • great primer and base for under make-up
  • leaves skin glowing, smoother, and tigher

I’ve only been using this serum for a few weeks so I haven’t noticed any big changes. Although I have to say it’s sort of a miracle that with traveling for over 2 weeks to two countries on the other side of the world which included a total of 31 hours of plane travel, I only had 1 or 2 pimples the entire time. So I think the Vitamin C serum definitely helped keep my skin calm and repaired throughout my trip. Now, I just need to use it longer to see if it really helps with my acne scars!

I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday and weekend!
