L'Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal

L’Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal Serum

I’ve mentioned this a few times in posts the past few weeks, but my skin has been crazy since November/December. Every time I think it’s finally under control, another blemish crops up. It’s mostly on my cheeks and it’s really annoying because as soon as my breakout on one cheek is gone, a pimple pops up on the other cheek! Anyway, as my body figures itself out, I’ve just been trying to take the best care of my skin as I can. One item I’ve been using the past few weeks is the L’Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal Serum.

L’oreal describes the serum as:

“L’Oréal Age Perfect Cell Renewal Serum contains Natecium and LHA to stimulate surface cell renewal and protect skin from free radicals. Millions of new cells renew the skin’s surface, leaving skin replumped, refreshed and renewed. After 1 day, skin looks hydrated, increases elasticity and feels softer. After 1 week, skin is radiant and replumped. After 1 month, skin is luminous, smooth and firm.”

Since I’ve been dealing with ongoing skin issues, I do have some more scarring than I did a few months ago. Besides dark spot correctors etc, this has been really nice to use to promote cell renewal and refresh my skin. I really like the way it feels on my skin and the luminous serum brightens my skin. The only thing that I would warn of is it is very fragrant. The scent is quite strong, but does not last long so if you’re okay with initial smells then it’s not a problem. I would say it smells sort of like cosmetics, but like old school cosmetics. The kind that had those floral scents and not the sugary scents that are popular today. The scent isn’t that bad it’s just that it’s pretty strong so it really hits you! But as I said, once it’s on your skin you can’t smell it anymore, it’s just when you’re applying it to your face that you can really smell it. Other than that, I really do enjoy the product!
