If I had to choose between matte or glossy lip products, I almost always go with glossy. I like the look of gloss on my lips more than matte since most mattes are drying. I’ve mentioned this a few times in posts the past few weeks, but my skin has been crazy since November/December. Every time I think it’s finally under control, another blemish crops up. It’s mostly on my cheeks and it’s really annoying because as soon as my breakout on one cheek is gone, a pimple pops up on the other cheek! L’Oreal Colour Riche Matte Addiction
Happy Sunday! I hope all your weekends are going well so far. Today, I’m sharing with you some thoughts and photos of a few L’Oreal products that I received from Influenster. I received 3 lipsticks and 3 lipliners all from the Matte collection. Mattes aren’t normally my thing, because I like the glossy look, so I was interested to see if I would like these mattes. I love the names of the shades – love clever names. The shades I received for the lipsticks are: “He Thinks He’s Matte-Cho”, “Matte – Sterpiece”, and “Blake’s Red”. L’oreal #RevitaliftChallenge
If you follow me on Instagram then you may have caught my photos from the L’oreal #RevitaliftChallenge. I was lucky enough to receive the L’oreal Revitalift moisturizer from Influenster and the challenge was to use the moisturizer morning and night for 14 days and document how our skin fared on day 1, day 7, and day 14. The moisturizer claims to: Repair wrinkles using hyaluronic acid Redensify skin with concentrated Pro-Xylane to re-volumize and strengthen skin Re-firm skin again with concentrated Pro-Xylane, which has been shown to enhance collagen production and firms and tightens skin. L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation
I’m a fan of L’Oreal foundations and when I was recently in the market for a new one I decided to try the L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation. This foundation is in a squeezy tube and is on the thicker side. I have the shade “natural buff” which is a little dark for me, but I’ve been making it work. It applies a bit orange, but thankfully a few minutes after being buffed in to the skin it changes to a much more natural color. I’m always searching for the best eye cream and the one I’ve been using most recently is L’Oreal’s Eye Defense. L’oreal says the product: features liposomes that penetrate the skin surface to hydrate and plump skin cells. The hydrating effect reduces the appearance of fine lines and diminishes dark circles. The eye creams I’ve used in the past have all been very cream-like whereas this one is more serum-like in texture. The product is light pink, almost translucent and has little specks that I believe to be light-diffusing particles giving it a pearlescent look.
