L’oreal #RevitaliftChallenge
If you follow me on Instagram then you may have caught my photos from the L’oreal #RevitaliftChallenge. I was lucky enough to receive the L’oreal Revitalift moisturizer from Influenster and the challenge was to use the moisturizer morning and night for 14 days and document how our skin fared on day 1, day 7, and day 14.
The moisturizer claims to:
- Repair wrinkles using hyaluronic acid
- Redensify skin with concentrated Pro-Xylane to re-volumize and strengthen skin
- Re-firm skin again with concentrated Pro-Xylane, which has been shown to enhance collagen production and firms and tightens skin.

The moisturizer has a scent which I can’t quite put my finger on. Maybe citrus? Anyway, I would put a dab on points around my face (forehead, nose, chin, cheeks) and gently massage it into my skin. It definitely does what it says in terms of being a deep moisturizer. My skin definitely felt very hydrated, smooth, and supple immediately upon applying the moisturizer. So in terms of moisturizing my skin and making it feel and look hydrated it’s a winner. However, I felt it was a little rich for my combo skin. I will continue to use it at night so that my skin can get that extra dose of hydration while I’m sleeping, but I don’t think I’d continue to use it in the morning since I don’t want my skin to break out from it. While it made my skin feel nice during the day, I could feel the tackiness throughout the day so, for me, it’s definitely more of a night time moisturizer. Plus, it doesn’t have spf in it, which makes me more wary to use it during the day.
Have you tried Revitalift?

I’ve been curious to try this moisturizer. I agree that it would be most useful at night since there is no SPF, which is so important in my morning routine.
