Estée Lauder -Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Créme
Yes, this moisturizer is called “créme” because we’re fancy. Just kidding, I’m not that fancy, but Estée Lauder is a high end brand so let’s pretend! Plus, the price tag on this créme will make you feel fancy. I was lucky enough to be sent a sample size to try out and I’ve been using it for a week now to see if I thought it was worth the price of a full size ($55 for 1 oz. and $85 for 1.7 oz). Keep reading for my thoughts! First, let’s go over the facts. Here is how the brand describes the moisturizer: “Featuring an exclusive RevitaKey™ technology with exclusive moringa…

June Jacobs Summer Essentials Collection
June Jacobs Spa Collection is a skincare brand and a sister brand to Peter Thomas Roth. June Jacobs is a world-renowned spa visionary and beauty wellness expert. As I’m a lover of skincare, I was excited to receive a few products from their Summer Essentials collection to try out! I received: Lip Renewal SPF 50 – a nourishing lip product that provides broad spectrum protection and maximum hydration. It contains red, white, and green tea extracts, goji berry, pomegranate, and grape seed extracts. Protective Moisturizer SPF 30 – This moisturizer contains all the same things as the lip renewal and is a hydrating moisturizer perfect for delicate skin and guards against…

L’oreal #RevitaliftChallenge
If you follow me on Instagram then you may have caught my photos from the L’oreal #RevitaliftChallenge. I was lucky enough to receive the L’oreal Revitalift moisturizer from Influenster and the challenge was to use the moisturizer morning and night for 14 days and document how our skin fared on day 1, day 7, and day 14. The moisturizer claims to: Repair wrinkles using hyaluronic acid Redensify skin with concentrated Pro-Xylane to re-volumize and strengthen skin Re-firm skin again with concentrated Pro-Xylane, which has been shown to enhance collagen production and firms and tightens skin. The moisturizer has a scent which I can’t quite put my finger on. Maybe…

Gloves in a Bottle – Shielding Lotion
Have you ever heard of shielding lotions? I hadn’t until Gloves in a Bottle reached out to me and asked if I’d be interesting in trying their shielding lotion out. So what is a shielding lotion? Unlike regular moisturizers, shielding lotions create an “invisible shield” to keep out irritants and toxins that can be harmful to our skin. According to the brand, “it bonds with the outer layer of skin cells to create an ‘invisible shield’. This now-enhanced outer layer of skin is far more effective at keeping out irritants and toxins that strip out natural moisture while helping to retain the natural oils and moisture needed to resolve dry, cracked or irritated…

Sneak Peek at Derma E’s New Packaging
Months ago I was sent some products from DERMA E to review and share the news that the brand would be available at Target. Well now I have an update from the company! They have updated their packaging and are relaunching in stores with the new packaging. While the look and feel of the packaging has been updated it is still the same great product inside. The company was kind enough to send me two creams. They sent me their Hydrating Day Cream in their old packaging and their Hydrating Night Cream in their new packaging. Both jars are glass, but the old packaging has a white, blue, and purple label, which is nice but…

Ole Henriksen – Sheer Transformation
So about 3 years ago I went to a free makeup session at Sephora before going to an event and the makeup artist used Ole Henriksen’s Sheer Transformation on my face to moisturizer after cleansing it. I remember thinking it felt so nice and soothing on my skin and making a mental note that I would definitely need to get it for myself. Well, fast forward a few years later and I finally got it. It is supposedly suitable for all skin types and is an oil-free moisturizer with a multi-fruit AHA complex to even skintone and smooth skin’s texture. It’s also described as, “a unique lightweight, whipped texture that penetrates…

Reviews.com Names Best Face Moisturizers
As I write this (Friday night) it’s just starting to snow and we’re supposed to be getting a blizzard this weekend so by the time this post goes live my neighborhood might be buried in snow! With the cold weather, a lot of us think about what moisturizers we’re using on our face. At least, I know I do. There are so many brands and so many moisturizers out there with a ton of different claims. I love trying out different products even though sometimes my face does not like my experiments so much. I think we can all agree that that’s the tricky thing. Everyone’s skin is different –…

Oz Naturals Body Souffle
I’m back with another Oz Naturals product. I got the opportunity to try out the Body Souffle. The moisturizer contains organic shea butter, olive and jojoba oil, B5, aloe vera, and green tea. It claims to offer your body the hydration it needs including softening rough spots, healing dry skin and adding a silky softness. The lotion comes in a squeeze tube and doesn’t have a scent other than the typical smell lotions have that say they’re non-scented. I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks now and while I haven’t noticed my skin being left silky smooth, it also hasn’t dried it out or given me a bad reaction.…

Dead Sea Mud Mask & Night Cream
I’m back with another skincare review! This time I’m happy to share with you my thoughts on InstaNatural’s Dead Sea Mud Mask and the InstaNatural Night Cream Moisturizer. First up, the Dead Sea Mud Mask. It claims to, “captures the minerals of the Dead Sea waters, along with other nourishing organic ingredients, to provide the ultimate detoxifier & purifier that delivers exceptional results: – Removes excess dirt, oil, grime and dead skin – Improves acne and blemishes – Reduces appearance of wrinkles and fine lines”. I’m a little wary of masks I’ve never tried before since my skin is sensitive, but since I’ve had good experiences with InstaNatural products so…
