I was sent the Philosophy Hope in a Jar Eye Revival Serum right before the new year and have been using it for about 10 days so far.
This eye serum is supposed to address fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness and elasticity, and dark circles.
– Enhanced Hyaluronic Acid: Provides immediate, supercharged hydration.
– Responsibly Sourced Elderberry Extract: Rich in flavonoids to target dark circles and puffiness.
– Exclusive Radiance Complex: Tangerine peel extract to improve skin’s luminosity.
Philosophy also describes it as: “Eye Revival Serum-in-Cream with elderberry flower and hyaluronic acid helps the eye area look immediately smoother and more supple. It is formulated with enhanced hyaluronic acid for supercharged hydration for up to 24 hours.”
So what do I think? I’ve only been using it for about 10 days, but I like it. I don’t think it’s offered any game changing effects for me, but it’s a nice eye cream. It’s more of a moisturizer consistency than a serum. When I think “serum” I think something more liquidy and this is in a pump and definitely comes out more like a cream.
It hasn’t dried my skin under my eyes, but I haven’t noticed a decrease in my fine lines or dark circles. Maybe I need to use it for a lot longer to notice.
All in all, I do like the product, but not sure I’d buy it again on my own.
