Face Tape Foundation

Why do weekends always go by so fast? I’m not ready to go back to work tomorrow, but at least the weather is spring-like now so that makes it not so bad.

I have a beauty post for you today. The past few weeks I’ve been using Tarte Face Tape Foundation.

I got it the shade fair light-sand which is for fair to light skin with yellow undertones. It’s about the 7th to lightest – there are 50 shades! – and still a little too light for me, so I’ve just been using bronzer to warm my skin up a little.

Here’s how Tarte describes it:

It goes on really smooth, but I do think it wears off by evening so I wouldn’t say it’s long-wearing. At least not for me. Also, one more pro is that a little goes a long way. I like it enough to continue using it and and not want to waste it, but I’m not sure I’d repurchase it.

Overall, I think it’s a decent foundation, but I’d need to do a darker shade and I personally don’t think it’s very long-wearing. On the plus side, it applies smoothly and is comfortable on the skin.
