    Born This Way Foundation

Today I’m sharing my thoughts on the Born this Way Foundation from Too Faced. This is definitely the foundation that I’ve been the most excited to talk about in a while. The last one I shared was the Perricone MD No Makeup Foundation Serum. I really liked that foundation at first when I wrote that review. I said it had good coverage (true) and didn’t get patchy on my skin in those first 2 weeks. Well, as the weeks went on I felt like it started to really break down on my skin by the evenings. I don’t know why it changed on my skin after a few weeks, but…

    No Makeup Foundation Serum

Sunday, already? It’s a 3-day weekend here, thankfully, but I can’t believe it’s already Sunday. I tried to sleep in yesterday, but woke up at 8am to the sound of pouring rain. It was so loud that I had to put my AirPods in and play music to drown out the sound of the pounding rain. Do you have any Memorial Day Weekend plans? I’m at my parents house and just having a small bbq with them since we can’t really see other people here in NJ. So the beauty product I’m talking about is not one that I got during the Sephora sale, but something I got on sale…

    MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation

I’ve been wanting to try the MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation for a long time. I don’t know why that’s the one I zero’ed in on of all the MAC foundations a while ago, but it’s been on my mind. So I got it a while ago and have been using it for about a month now. Here is the description MAC gives: A luxurious, creamy foundation that delivers ultimate hydration while instantly revitalizing the look of dull and dry skin. Innovative gel-based system provides outstanding skin feel and medium to full buildable coverage with a natural satin finish. Micronized silicone-coated pigments improve skin adherence and blendability while helping to maintain…

    Clinique Even Better Foundation

Why is it Sunday already? I hate how fast weekends go by! Hopefully your weekend has been good so far and you’re off to a great Sunday as well. My day yesterday was a mix of relaxing and running around getting stuff done/browsing at things for my new place and then meeting up with an old friend to catch up. On to today’s post. I love trying out all different foundations. I’ve worn Clinique foundation before, but this is the first time I’ve tried the Even Better Foundation and like the other ones I’ve tried – I love it! The foundation feels light, but gives really good coverage. I’m wearing…

Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation

I’m here with a beauty review today – a foundation! Tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage FoundationΒ (that’s a mouthful) isn’t new – it’s been around for years, but it’s new to me. I first heard people gushing about it a few years ago and I made a mental note to try it out. But, you know how it is – other products come up or you keep forgetting you wanted to try something and the next thing you know it’s 3 years later! So without further ado let me tell you if this foundation lives up to the hype. As a side note – it’s fitting that I’m talking about…

    L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation

I’m a fan of L’Oreal foundations and when I was recently in the market for a new one I decided to try theΒ L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation. This foundation is in a squeezy tube and is on the thicker side. I have the shade “natural buff” which is a little dark for me, but I’ve been making it work. It applies a bit orange, but thankfully a few minutes after being buffed in to the skin it changes to a much more natural color. I’ve been applying this the past few weeks with my oval brush fromΒ Mikasa Beauty. The foundation offers nice, even coverage. I would say it gives medium…

Philosophy Hope in a Jar Foundation

How is everyone’s week going? I have been so busy this week trying to get so much done before the marking period ends next week. For those of you who are new or fairly new to Life According to Jamie, my full time job is teaching. The marking period ends next Friday and of course I made the brilliant decision to make projects and essays in all my courses due this week. Exams are next week so I want all these projects graded by the weekend. Plus, I’m headed out of town the second half of next week so I need everything done before my trip! To say I’m exhausted…

    Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush

Have you tried any of the foundation sprays out there? I remember first becoming aware of them 4 years ago when Judy from ItsJudyTime had that very funny video of spraying the foundation on her face. Since then, the sprays have improved (according to all the videos and reviews I have seen over the years) so I finally picked one up for myself. I got the Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush which retails for $28, which is pretty comparable to most middle of the road (luxury wise) foundations. I’ve heard that this is a dupe for the Dior’s Airflash Spray Foundation which is $62, so I went into this hoping that this $28 Sephora version…

    bareSkin Serum Foundation

I always love trying out new foundations and finding new products to love is always a good time. With the rising popularity of serum foundations and the no-makeup makeup look, I wanted to try out the bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation from bareMinerals. Since I’ve been a fan of bareMinerals products since I was a teenager, I was really looking forward to trying their first liquid foundation. So what did I think about it? Keep reading to find out! The foundation comes in a plastic bottle and the top unscrews revealing a squeeze-y bottle/dropper type pourer. You need to shake well for a few seconds before putting a few drops…
