No Makeup Foundation Serum
Sunday, already? It’s a 3-day weekend here, thankfully, but I can’t believe it’s already Sunday. I tried to sleep in yesterday, but woke up at 8am to the sound of pouring rain. It was so loud that I had to put my AirPods in and play music to drown out the sound of the pounding rain.
Do you have any Memorial Day Weekend plans? I’m at my parents house and just having a small bbq with them since we can’t really see other people here in NJ.
So the beauty product I’m talking about is not one that I got during the Sephora sale, but something I got on sale another time – Perricone MD’s No Makeup Foundation Serum. This foundation is pricey and is probably the most expensive foundation I’ve gotten to date. But, I’ve heard great things about the Perricone MD No Makeup line. I’ve used the No Makeup Bronzer before and loved mixing it with foundations that were a little too light for me in the summer.
Here’s how the foundation is described:
What it is:Β A skin-improving serum foundation that creates a semi- matte finish with buildable coverage.
Coverage:Β Light
Finish:Β Natural
Formulation:Β Liquid
Skin Type:Β Normal, Dry, Combination, and Oily
SPF:Β SPF 20
Highlighted Ingredients:
– Neuropeptides: Helps minimize the appearance of wrinkles.
– Daisy Flower Extract: Naturally evens skintone.
– Bisabolo: Acts as a skin-brightening antioxidant.
What Else You Need to Know:Β This lightweight, skin-softening formula visibly improves dark spots and uneven skin tone for visibly smoother, more uniform skin over time.
My thoughts? I really like this foundation. It has incredible coverage for a serum and goes on really smoothly. I’ve only been using it for 2 weeks so I haven’t noticed it making my skin more uniform or evening out my skin tone yet, but my face does look really smooth throughout the day and it doesn’t get patchy. The only thing I don’t really love about this foundation (aside from the price) is that it’s a dropper. It’s a little annoying to get the amount of product you want out.
For reference, I have it in the shade ivory which works for me right now especially after blush and bronzer, but will probably be too light for me in the summer. I also use 2 drops and that’s enough to give me really good coverage.
