Born This Way Foundation
Today I’m sharing my thoughts on the Born this Way Foundation from Too Faced. This is definitely the foundation that I’ve been the most excited to talk about in a while. The last one I shared was the Perricone MD No Makeup Foundation Serum. I really liked that foundation at first when I wrote that review. I said it had good coverage (true) and didn’t get patchy on my skin in those first 2 weeks. Well, as the weeks went on I felt like it started to really break down on my skin by the evenings. I don’t know why it changed on my skin after a few weeks, but it did.
Anyway, I started using the Born This Way Foundation after the Perricone MD one and I love it. I’ve been using it for a few weeks and it’s got good coverage and has not accentuated any dry spots or dried me out. It hasn’t become patchy and it really looks beautiful on the skin.
Here is how Too Faced describes the product:
“An oil-free foundation that masterfully diffuses the line between makeup and skin with coverage so undetectable, they’ll think you were born this way. Born This Way is available in 35 shades so more people can have flawless, “I woke up like this” skin. It provides undetectable, medium-to-full coverage. It’s oil-free, hydrating, and long wearing. This noncomedogenic formula is also photo friendly and won’t cause flashback.”
I can confirm that it looks really natural, but provides great coverage. It doesn’t look cakey or anything. I’m in the shade “Pearl” which looks nice on me, but I think is a tad light since I’m a little tanner in the summer, but it’s not too far off. Since I’m not outdoors that often this summer with not as many places to go due to the pandemic, I’m not very tan so the shade works.
Overall, I’m loving this foundation and at this point, I would definitely repurchase.
