Live Clean Body Wash & Lotion

One of the great things about blogging is that I get to try out so many different things. Whether I am sent products or I’m off buying them myself because I’ve heard so much about them – it’s always fun for me to try out all different kinds of products and I, of course, like to report back my thoughts to all of you.

Lately, I’ve been using a body wash and lotion from Live Clean that were sent to me. I got the Bali Body Wash and the Argan Oil Body Lotion. What’s great about Live Clean is that they produce eco-friendly, gentle products with naturally based ingredients. And what’s also great is that you can find their products at places like Target, Walgreens, and Whole Foods so it’s not some line that you can only buy from their website or something obscure like that.

First off, I love the smell of both of these products and if I’m going to be putting these on my body, liking the smell is crucial!

The body wash is quite thin, and by that I mean that it’s not a thick, creamy body wash but more liquidy. It still does suds up and lather once I start working it in with my loofah, but it definitely has a more liquid consistency. The scent is light and not too fragrant. It is made of coconut oil, sweet almond oil, and soy protein.

The replenishing lotion has the scent that I typically associate with argan oils, but like with the body wash isn’t too fragrant or overpowering. It’s nice and moisturizing and I love that it sinks in and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tacky or greasy. It’s made with Moroccan argan oil, grapeseed oil, and olive oil.

Both the body wash and the lotion are free of parabens, sulfates, and other harmful chemicals. They’re also vegan and 98% plant based.

I’m really glad I got to try these products out and that I still have a ways to go before I finish them off! I love that when I’m ready to replace them or when I want to check out more products from the line I can easily find the brand at my local stores.
