If you’re planning a trip to Los Angeles and you don’t know where to start then don’t worry, you have definitely come to the right place. Whether you’re booking a long vacation or heading to Disneyland, it’s important for you to prepare as much as you possibly can. From booking the perfect hotel to finding activities you want to do, the more you’re planning in advance the better. With that in mind, here are 5 things to consider when planning a trip to Los Angeles:
– How Much Do You Want To Spend?
One of the first things you need to decide is how much you want to spend, as this will ensure you don’t end up spending more than you can afford. Whilst you may have an overall figure in your head, it’s important to think about each individual aspect of the trip too. From your flights and accommodation to the activities and food you want to try, you need to think of absolutely everything. For a guide to budgeting for a trip, you can visit this site here.
– What Is The Best Way To Get There?
Once you know how much you’re planning on spending, you need to find a way of getting there that fits in with your budget. Whether that means driving from your home town or catching a flight to LAX, there are lots of different ways to travel to the City of Angels. Once you arrive, you also need to think about how you’re going to get around. For tips and tricks when it comes to transport in Los Angeles, you can visit this site here.
– What Area Will You Be Staying In?
Another important thing to consider is the area you’re going to be staying in. LA is incredibly expensive and if you’re not looking into the best areas to stay, you might end up staying somewhere that is difficult to travel to, especially during rush hour. The best thing to do is research hotels and apartments in the areas you know you’re going to be spending the most time.
– What Attractions Will You Be Visiting?
The great thing about LA is that there are so many things for you to do. Unfortunately, that means you need to work out what you’re going to be well in advance. From booking tickets to Disneyland to walking the Walk of Fame, the more you plan in advance the more you’ll be able to do. If you’re a DVC member and you’re looking for tickets for DVC members, you can visit this site here.
– Where Do You Want To Eat And Drink?
Finally, you need to think about where you want to eat and drink. There are so many incredible places to visit, you might want to consider having a list prepared beforehand.

I’ve been to LA twice. Was supposed to go back this month (well, Anaheim actually). My boyfriend’s work usually goes to the NAMM trade show, but they decided not to go this year. So bummed because I was going to go to Disneyland while my boyfriend did the trade show. Plus I have a friend who works at the Disney Studios in Burbank & they were going to have me be their guest on the lot one day. 🙁

That would’ve been so fun! I’ve only been to LA once when I was a kid and I really want to go back to go to Disneyland since I hardly remember it. I have good friends in San Diego and I’m hoping to go visit them soon and make a day trip over to Disney.

Last time I was in LA was 1989 (1st visit was in 85). I turned 15 while we were there and went to Disneyland for my birthday. My boyfriend lived in LA for awhile in the 80s & I have several friends in the area as well.
