Skinfix Eczema Body Wash
How is everyone’s self-quarantining going? My first day of teaching remotely yesterday went pretty well, but, I can see how it can get tougher as it goes on as well as lonely. I’m planning to write a blog post tomorrow to talk about what kind of routine I’m keeping or hoping to keep with this whole working from home thing.
But on to today’s blog post. I’ve mentioned it on here before, but for most of my life I’ve had eczema. It usually comes and goes and is usually on my legs. It has been worse in the past year though and I have a prescription from the dermatologist, but again, it comes and goes. So when Skinfix sent me this body wash, it was perfect timing!
Here is how the body wash is described:
“This skin-softening formula uses sulfate free coconut cleansers to gently cleanse without stripping. Aloe vera juice and a blend of jojoba, sunflower, and apricot kernel oils hydrate, and soothe dry, irritated skin. Tested and recommended by dermatologists. Safe for sensitive skin.”
I do like it and it’s helped with my dry skin. The only thing I would change about it is that I wish it would lather more. The product is on the thinner side, almost like liquid soap, so even with a handful of pumps in to my loofah it doesn’t build up a lot of lather. I mean, I can see the soap/body wash on my body so it’s not like nothing is happening, I just wish it would get more sudsy. But that’s my only critique!
Anyone else battle dry skin or eczema?
