The United States is filled with amazing destinations that would amaze all of its 31 million car enthusiasts. From car museums to obscure monuments and factory tours, you will not regret visiting some of the country’s best automobile destinations and enjoying your vacation.

  1. Cadillac Ranch, Texas

Route 66 is a popular road in the United States. There are so many amazing sites that you can see along the stretch, including Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas, which is perfect for all car lovers. 

Cadillac Ranch was founded in 1974 by a group of artists from San Francisco. Over the years, it has become a favorite destination for many automobile fans and has featured in many pop culture materials and references, including blogs, calendars, and social media. Ten Cadillac vehicles are halfway buried, nose-down in a line, which is believed to be at the same angle as the Great Pyramid of Giza. If you happen to drive along Route 66 anytime soon, ensure that you stop at the Cadillac Ranch. You’ll get double the experience if you carry a can of spray paint so you can leave your mark on the monuments.

Car enthusiasts everywhere immediately associate the name Henry Ford with cars. It is the perfect destination in the Dearborn, Michigan, area for anyone looking for a day filled with fun activities and experiences. 

There are many things to do when visiting The Henry Ford in Dearborn. The Henry Ford in Dearborn has several museum exhibits, including the Heroes of the Sky and Presidential Vehicles. You can also go on a tour at the Ford Rouge Factory Tour, where you can get a bird’s eye view of a vehicle assembly line. You can also talk about a walk through Fair Lane, the home of Henry Ford and his wife. It’s the best destination to visit if you want to learn more about automobile history. 

  1. Carhenge, Nebraska

Carhenge is a popular monument that is open throughout the year in Nebraska. It is a replica of England’s famous landmark, Stonehenge. You will find 39 vehicles that are placed to scale and are open every day from dawn to dusk.

You can also check out other car sculptures at the nearby Car Art Reserve. If you’re looking for a souvenir to take with you, the Pit Stop gift shop should be your go-to. However, the shop is only open between May-September.

If you’re a fan of NASCAR, you will find everything you need to know at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in North Carolina. You can do many activities during your visit, from interactive experiences to trying out realistic racing simulators. Plus, you can fully delve into learning more about NASCAR’s history and the lives of some of America’s famous race drivers.
