Book Review: Queen of Myth & Monsters
I read and loved King of Battle & Blood a week or two ago and was excited to read the second book in the series, Queen of Myth & Monsters.

The book picks up where book 1 left off and those who betrayed Adrian and Isolde have been executed. Now the couple along with the few people they trust have to root out more traitors and hunt down Ravena, the witch who betrayed the High Coven 200 years ago. The more Adrian and Isolde learn the more it seems the goddesses Asha and Dis are working to pit humans and vampires against one another. Also, the more they learn the less they trust those around them.
I love how Isolde has given in to her love for Adrian in this book. She had the attraction and love for him that she tried to deny for a big part of the first book. But, in this book they are totally in love and unapologetic about their public displays of affection and ruthlessness towards others who cross their beloved. I love it and how morally grey they both are! The spice is hot and frequent in this book which just made the book even more fun. This is an unpopular opinion (according to my browsing on GoodReads) but I might have enjoyed this one even more than King of Battle & Blood just because Adrian and Isolde’s love for each other seems settled and they can spend the book working together instead of figuring out their feelings for each other. It was also interesting to go along with Isolde as she works on remembering her past life and learning how to use her new (and old) powers. Side Note: I really like Killian and hope he gets a real love interest and HEA.
Anyway, I had to keep this review short because there’s only so much I can say about this without spoiling the story! That’s par for the course with fantasy reads though.
Overall, I really liked this book and can’t wait to see what happens next when book 3 comes out next year. I think book 3 is the last book but I’m not sure if that’s official. Regardless I can’t wait to see what happens especially after that ending.
Read this series if you like spicy fantasy romance and vampires!
