Book Review: Unbroken Bonds

It’s hard to believe I’ve finished the Bonds that Tie series by J. Bree! I read the 6th and final book, Unbroken Bonds, last week.

Book 5 ended with a bombshell twist and there ended up being someone worse than the big, bad, enemy of all the previous books. Oli and her bonds (North, Nox, Gryphon, Gabe, and Atlas) are closer and more in love than ever. They’re also more powerful than ever and learn that their bonds aren’t just gifts like all the other gifted people, but actually gods. They have been cycling through for hundreds (or even thousands?) of years waiting for them all to awake at the same time. It is finally time and they are unstoppable as they work to end the Resistance and all the god-bonds that want to end them.

I loved being with Oleander and all the guys one last time. Oli’s love for each of them and their love for her is so beautiful and unconditional. I’m not sure which bond is my favorite. Maybe Gryphon? Or Nox? I love them all! This was a great wrap up to the series!
