Books that Make Me Emotional
One of my favorite songs in Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poet’s Department is “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” and one of my favorite lines is:
“So tell me everything is not about me
But what if it is?
Then say they didn’t do it to hurt me
But what if they did?”
And that made me think of books that have scenes that have stuck with me because they make me so emotional even months or over a year later.

I don’t want to spoil the books and share what exactly makes me emotional with these books so I’ll try to keep it vague!
- Gleam – The scene between Auren and Midas in the dungeons.
- Archer’s Voice – basically this whole book!
- Things We Never Got Over – When Waylay is getting her hair cut.
- The Song of Achilles – When their ashes aren’t buried together.
- Fourth Wing – The last big battle scene.
Have you read any of these books and did they make you emotional too?
Also, how cute is my “Well Read Coven” tee? I picked it up from Inkwell Threads!
