Romcom TBR for Summer
I have a giant overall TBR and a “shorter” list of more immediate books on my tbr. I have a general idea of what books I’m going to try to get to this summer and included in that list is a handful of romcoms. I also have fantasy, dark romance, contemporary romance etc. on the list, but thought I’d just round up the romcoms for this post since summer just seems like a romcom-y time. Although to be fair I read romcoms year round! This list is subject to change of course if my mood changes or something comes up that I want to read more and so on.

- The Roommate by Rosie Danan – I started this a few days ago and am 30-ish% in so far and really enjoying it!
- The Blast from the Past by Lucy Score – This is the 3rd book in the Riley Thorn series which I’m thoroughly enjoying!
- Cruel Summer by Morgan Elizabeth – This book came out last summer and I didn’t get to it so I am making a point to read it this summer! This is the 2nd book in the Season of Revenge series (interconnected series with the fmc’s being best friends) and I really liked Tis the Season for Revenge.
- Bridesmaid for Hire by Meghan Quinn – I always love Meghan Quinn books and this one is about Maggie – a side character from the Almond Bay series.
- So This is War by Meghan Quinn – This is the last book in the Vancouver Agitators series and I can’t wait, but also don’t want the series to end!
- Leather & Lark by Brynne Weaver – I loved Butcher & Blackbird earlier this year and can’t wait to get in to book 2.
- Business Casual by B.K. Borison – I love the Lovelight Farms series and I’ve been (im)patiently waiting for Charlie and Nova’s story for so long! I can’t wait for it to come out next month.
- Christmas Cupid by Ilsa Madden Mills – I had to include a book for Christmas in July! I’ve read a few books by Ilsa Madden Mills and really enjoyed them and I remember seeing this book last Christmas and wanting to read it but not having time to before the holidays were over.
- The Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren – I love Christina Lauren and I’ve heard this new one by them is really good!
- Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer – I just finished this yesterday and loved it! My review will be up in a couple days!
I’ve already got 1 of these 10 books done and am 1/3 of the way through another so I think things are looking pretty good!
Are any of these books on your tbr too?
