Business Casual Acknowledgements

Last month I read and loved Business Casual, the last book in the Lovelight Farms series by B.K. Borison. It’s the end of an era and I already miss Lovelight and all its characters. I wanted to make a post dedicated to the end of the acknowledgements because it was so perfect and makes me emotional every time I read or think about the last lines.

The last lines of the acknowledgements are:

“The gates to Lovelight will always be open. I’ll meet you at Layla’s for some coffee and we’ll hunt down the perfect tree. If only in my dreams…”

That gives me all the feels and makes me want to go back to Lovelight. It’s very bittersweet. It makes me happy, but also sad. It’s enough to make me want to cry tears into my Inglewild Phone Tree mug. If you’ve read the books then you know the books take place in Inglewild and the small town is always in everyone’s business. They even have a phone tree. So a couple years ago when I saw that B.K. Borison was selling these mugs in her shop (I think it’s closed now) I had to get it! I love that it says “Your business is town business” haha.

I’m not done talking about this series yet. I’m planning to put together aesthetics for each couple soon!
