Book Review: Daughter of the Lost
Daughter of the Lost by Kay Stephens is the spinoff sequel to The Porn Star’s Daughter, which I read and enjoyed at the start of the year. This follows Trinity, a character from the first book, as she begins her sophomore year of college.

We follow along as Trinity tries to navigate her life. She had a difficult childhood which led to her stripping to help her get by and she’s working hard to prove she belongs at her university. Throw into the mix her friend Tali’s mother, Missy, (Tali was the fmc in book 1) who is a famous former adult film star and has taken Trinity in as her bonus daughter. She doesn’t want Trinity to work anymore and believes Trinity should be focused on school. But, that doesn’t come easily to Trinity when she’s been in survival mode all her life. Missy even enlists a cop named Randall to be Trinity and Tali’s housemate so he can protect them.
Now Trinity has to work through everything in addition to deciding what to do about the sparks that are flying between her and Randall.
I liked this book, but definitely think I was more hooked on the story during the 1st book. I liked Trinity and really liked the Trinity/Randall storyline, but for some reason I just never got as invested in the storyline this time around. There was nothing about the book that I didn’t like, so maybe it was a mood thing. Nevertheless, I did like the book.
