Elizabethan Gardens

One of the little outings my family and I went on while in the Outer Banks last week was to the Elizabethan Gardens. It ended up being a bit rainy that morning, but we went anyway and the rain wasn’t too bad and even lent itself to the whole Elizabethan/English vibe. It almost felt like Mr. Darcy should be popping out somewhere.

There were two instances where I thought of ACOTAR references, though! When we first arrived and I saw a gate that had a fountain in the middle of being cleaned/ renovated behind it and I thought “Spring Court, is that you?” and later on in the garden I saw a big stone urn type thing, maybe a deep bird bath? Anyway, I thought “Cauldron, is that you?” haha
