Book Review: All My Kisses For You

I’m a fan of The Lancater Prep books by Monica Murphy and I finaly started reading her second generation books starting with All My Kisses For You.

The novel follows Willow Lancaster and Rhett Bennett. Willow is the oldest child and only daughter of Crew and Wren from A Million Kisses In Your Lifetime and Rhett is the oldest child of Ava and Eli from The Callahans series. Talk about second generation – these are two characters from separate series!

Willow is returning to Lancaster Prep for her senior year of high school after spending the last year studying abroad. Before the start of the new year her cousin Iris (Whit and Summer’s daughter) tells her that the school is different now mostly because there is a football team now and everyone loves going to the games and having more school spirit. Rhett is the star quarterback. Lancaster Prep is so different from what she’s used to, but even she can’t deny that the atmosphere is fun and everyone’s enthusiasm for the football team is contagious.

When Rhett saw Willow for the first time he thought she was the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen. He grew up wealthy due to his family, but nothing is like Lancaster wealthy. He’s never been serious about a girl, but Willow could be the one to change his ways. Willow is known to be a good girl, so will she give the new star athlete a chance?

This was a really fun read and I loved seeing old, beloved characters. I haven’t read The Callahans series but it’s on my tbr and I loved Rhett so it will be fun to read about his parents. I really liked Rhett and Willow. Willow was a little naive and goody goody, but it worked because it reminded me of Wren. Overall, I really liked the book and am looking forward to reading the next one about Willow’s brother, Rowan!
