Full Circle Moment – Key Club Fall Rally

When I was in high school I was part of the Key Club and have memories of going to Six Flags every fall for the Fall Rally. Key Clubs from all over NJ would attend and we’d get to go into the park before opening, listen to some speeches about the organization, and then spend the rest of the day having fun at the park. So it felt like a full circle moment when I chaperoned a trip to the fall rally over the weekend. Unfortunately, it was extremely windy that day so it made it feel so cold. And because of the wind, a lot of rides weren’t even running. Nonetheless, it brought back memories and can’t believe I was back but as the supervising adult this time. And you can tell I’m old enough to be in this position because with how cold and windy it was, I chose to get hot chocolate and funnel cake and have the treats indoors!
