December 2025 Favorite Reads
December was a whirlwind of a month. I read a bunch of holiday reads, but it also was a little bit of a slower month in terms of the amount of books I read. I think because I just had less time with all the holiday craziness. But, it was a good reading month nonetheless and I actually struggled to decide what my top favorite read of the month would be.

Of the books I read my favorites were:
- The Christmas Tree Farm
- Good Spirits
- The Spiced Cocoa Cafe
- Left of Forever
- The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year
- Shield of Sparrows
I loved Shield of Sparrows and it was definitely a contender for favorite of the month, but then I thought maybe not because a few parts felt a little long. Left of Forever and Good Spirits were the two I was really going back and forth with for favorite and ultimately I decided to go with Good Spirits by B.K. Borison!
And it may not come as a surprise but my favorite read of the year is Funny Feelings by Tarah DeWitt. I’ve only been talking about it since I read it earlier this year!

Sometimes picking my most favorite each month to fill out my bracket is a no brainer and sometimes it’s really tough. Stay tuned for a round up of my top books that I really loved and/or really impacted me this year. My list will definitely include books that didn’t make it to my top favorite in a month. I hope to have that up in a couple days!
Did you have a favorite read this month?
