Wild Reverence – Quote
I’m revisiting Wild Reverence today so I can highlight a quote I tabbed when I read it last month.

“War only makes love flame brighter, defiant. It seems to bloom from the bloodshed you leave behind, unfurling from the most unlikely places. From the broken seams of the world. From the graves and the anguish and the fear you inspire.”
This quote was said to Bade, Matilda’s father figure in the novel and the god of war. It was about how even though he is the god of war, war and the destruction it causes only brings people closer together and makes love burn brighter in the face of it all. Fitting for the current state of the world and tab worthy in my opinion!
