Recent Reads – Light Romance to Dark Romance

Earlier this month I kept seeing Instagram reels with a trending audio that starts out with a clip from a vintage Nestle Crunch commercial jingle and transitions into Prince’s “Purple Rain”. A lot of the videos I saw were people going from day to night or a day time view to a night time view etc. When I was seeing a lot of these videos I realized that my current reads at the time could fit into that trend. On my Kindle I was reading Overruled by Lana Ferguson – a fun romcom about two rival lawyers. My physical read was Harvest Season by Brynne Weaver – a dark romcom about two serial killers in love.

Definitely fits the trend, doesn’t it?!
