Restyled: Lace Cold Shoulder + Grey Boho Satchel

Last year I shared this square shoulder lace cold shoulder top on the blog with distressed jeggings. I restyled it last weekend with leggings and my light grey Moda Luxe boho satchel bag that my cousin gifted me. Top: Vici | Leggings: Nordstrom Rack | Bag: Moda Luxe | Shoes: Red Dress Boutique This was the perfect bag to take with me out and about last week. I was out all day running around so I had the obvious things in it like my wallet and phone, but also a book I’ve been reading, and a sweater. It’s been my go-to bag lately when I’ve got a bunch of places…

    Square Cold Shoulder Lace Blouse

This blouse is called “Going to the Chapel” on the Vici Collection website and I think it’s so fitting since the top is so dreamy and ethereal – exactly how I want to feel when I’m a bride one day! This top has crochet lace, a high neckline, square cold shoulders for a very defined look, and scalloped edges. It’s seriously so pretty in person! I wore this lace blouse with distressed denim jeggings and pink bow sandals for my June photoshoot with Lauren in Red Bank, NJ. Top: Vici Collection (here) | Pants: NikiBiki via Nordstrom Rack | Shoes: Steve Madden via DSW I thought pairing the romantic lace blouse…

    Floral Camo Cold Shoulder

Happy Saturday! I have 1 full week of work left and then a few half days and then it’s time for summer break! The school year feels like it went by pretty quickly but at the same time I am so ready for a break – I’m so tired and burnt out so it’s definitely time for a break. The look I’m sharing today is one I wore two weekends ago. Camo print regained popularity last year and I think we’ll still see it quite a bit this year. I love when traditional prints are given a twist and this camo top has cold shoulders and floral detailing. This top…

    Studded Cold Shoulder

Sunday and yesterday were a bit chilly, but it looks like the weather is going to be nice and warm from here on out! In the meantime, since it was chilly on Sunday i wore a cold shoulder sweatshirt. It’s nice and cozy, but is a cold shoulder so it’s perfect for those chilly spring days when you want to be warm but not look like you’re dressing for winter. The cold shoulder openings have a fun studded detailing, which are so fun. There is slight distressing at the neckline and hem. I wore this sweatshirt with my favorite Old Navy Rockstar 24/7 jeans and black mules. Sweatshirt: Bungalow 20…

    Red Velvet Cold Shoulder Dress

Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m not super in to the holiday, but I don’t hate it either. I like the cheesiness of it like all the candies, flowers, and decorations, but I’ve never been one of those people that need to make a big deal about it or make a big stink about it if I don’t have a valentine. My plans today are pretty much to work and then watch more of the Olympics!  This dress is from last year but I knew it would be perfect for Valentine’s Day so I wanted to share it today. This red velvet dress has shoulder cutouts, a cut out at the chest,…

    Waffle Knit Cold Shoulder Sweater

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas yesterday (for those that celebrate)! When this post goes live I should be on the road heading to Disney World! I flew to Georgia yesterday to spend Christmas day with family and today we’re on our way for our Christmas vacation to Florida. I’m writing this post ahead of time, but in a few days I’ll be starting my travel diary posts. In the meantime, follow me on Instagram for details of what I’m up to on my stories! I know, I just shared a cold shoulder sweater look over the weekend, but I’m back with one more! This white knit cold…

    Pine Green Cold Shoulder

I can’t believe Christmas is in 2 days! Where did the time go? The holiday season always goes by way too fast for my liking. Despite the cold temperatures, I can’t resist a good cold shoulder sweater especially when aside from the shoulder cutouts, the sweater is cozy. Plus, I love this pine green color! Sweater: American Eagle | Jeans: Kohl’s This color looks great for the holidays and it’s so soft and cozy. One thing about this sweater though – it was a one size fits all sweater, which always has me wondering how can one size fit all? It’s like the distressed denim leggings I wore with the pumpkin…

    Ruffled Cold Shoulder Sweatshirt

I hope you all had a good weekend! I could do with a few extra days off, but I’m sure many of you feel the same way! As most of you know, one of the most important things I look for in my clothes is comfort. I have to be comfortable at least on some level or I’m just not going to be happy wearing it. And if I’m not happy then there’s really no point in wearing that piece. In the cooler months, it’s easy to throw on a sweatshirt or hoodie and call it a [non-work] day. But, who said you can’t be comfortable, warm, and stylish at…

    Purple Velvet Cold Shoulder

You already know that the cold shoulder trend is one I fully embraced this year and will continue to showcase on here, but if you didn’t know – I’m also totally on the velvet bandwagon. This purple velvet cold shoulder top is perfect for the transition into the colder months with it’s deep jewel tone color. I paired it with my mauve pants and beautiful green and pink gem stone drop earrings I got on sale at Express! Since the day I wore this outfit it was pretty mild out I also got to wear embroidered sandals too. Top: Harlowe & Graham via Nordstrom Rack | Pants: LC Lauren Conrad…

    Dark Olive Floral Cold Shoulder

I’m back today with the first of two outfits from my fall photoshoot with Jaye Kogut Photography! If you missed my summer ones you can catch them here, here, and here. Jaye and I worked together one summer a long time ago back when I was in college. We worked at a summer camp together and now Jaye is a professional photographer! She and I are doing blog photo shoots seasonally. For my fall shoot we met at Davidson’s Mill Pond Park and we shot two outfits. My first outfit is this dark olive floral cold shoulder top, wine colored pants, and blush pink lace up flats. Top: LC Lauren…
