Ruffled Cold Shoulder Sweatshirt
I hope you all had a good weekend! I could do with a few extra days off, but I’m sure many of you feel the same way!
As most of you know, one of the most important things I look for in my clothes is comfort. I have to be comfortable at least on some level or I’m just not going to be happy wearing it. And if I’m not happy then there’s really no point in wearing that piece. In the cooler months, it’s easy to throw on a sweatshirt or hoodie and call it a [non-work] day. But, who said you can’t be comfortable, warm, and stylish at the same time?
Over the summer, Nordstrom Rack had this grey sweatshirt on sale (for less than $13!) with ruffle trimmed cold shoulder details. It’s so cozy and despite the upper arm/shoulder cutouts it’s quite warm!
Sweatshirt: Caslon via Nordstrom Rack | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Boots: Betsey Johnson via DSW | Bomber Jacket: American Eagle
I wore this sweatshirt with jeans, taupe booties, and my army green bomber jacket out to dinner and yes I took a bathroom selfie because the mirror was huge and I loved it! I was comfortable, cozy, and didn’t have to compromise on style with the loose grey sweatshirt and ruffle trimmed cutouts.
