    Neon Trim Shearling Pullover

Are you on board with the neon trend? I am! I think it’s so fun and the bright colors help cheer me up in these trying times. If you’re not too sure about the neon trend and don’t want to wear a solid, highlighter colored sweatshirt or pants, then this faux shearling pullover with a neon green trim is the perfect way to dip your toe in to the trend. I love the color combo of this pullover. The beige/oatmeal color faux shearling with the bright neon green is so good. I love the pop of color and I think the green inside the hood is the perfect touch. The color…

    Grey Slouchy Henley Sweater

Yesterday, it was pouring rain all day where I live. I didn’t go out at all, obviously since we’re in quarantine, but on the nice days last week I was able to go for walks to get some fresh air and exercise (keeping distance from anyone I passed along the way of course). I thought I would at least be able to go out and get my mail today, but it was too gross out so I stayed in the whole day. This grey slouchy henley sweater is the perfect sweater for those grey, staying in days. I wore this sweater last week, layered with a white tee underneath for…

    B&W: Floral Bobble Sweater

I hope you all had a nice weekend and got to get out and get some fresh air. It was beautiful here so I went for nice long walks both days so i could get some exercise in and fresh air before it rains a bunch this week and I’m really trapped inside. But, before all the lockdowns started, I met up with Lauren for some photos down by the beach. I had told Lauren about my idea to do some black & white photos during this weird time of year where it’s still kind of winter blah-ness outside. Little did I know when we planned this out that the…

Ribbed Turtleneck Dress + Plaid Shirt

I wrote yesterday about how I’m still getting dressed every day for work even though I’m working from home. I’m not wearing dress pants or anything like I would do if I was actually going in to work, but I’m still getting dressed out of pajamas and sweatpants just to help my mindset. For my first day of teaching online on Wednesday I decided that I was going to wear a dress just to kick off this whole teaching from home thing. Plus, I already had it ironed thinking I would be going to work this past week! I got this ribbed turtleneck dress from Amazon and I love how…

    Neon Speckled Cardigan

Today is my first day of online teaching during this whole social distancing/self-isolation thing. Wish me luck! If you’ve been following me on here for a while then you know I love cardigans. I wear sweaters all year long because I’m usually cold. Most of my cardigans are in neutral colors so they will match any outfit, but I do like a little something different every once in a while. So when I saw this cardigan online and on sale I had to have it. It’s a light peachy pink color with neon specks! It’s so pretty. The neon colors are in a orange, pink, and yellow. So fun! Brown Print Mini Mock Neck

Today marks my first day working from home amidst all this Coronavirus chaos. Online teaching starts tomorrow, but I have work to get done today and I think a virtual staff meeting. I can already see this whole self-distancing, isolation thing getting incredibly lonely and boring. It doesn’t help that my state also imposed an 8pm curfew for non-essential travel. We’ll see how this all goes and I hope we can eventually get back to some sense of normalcy sooner rather than later. But, in happier news I’m sharing this super cute brown print mini mock neck sweatshirt today. When I saw it, I thought it was so cute. There…

    Relaxed V-Neck Sweater

I hope you all had a good weekend and managed to stay in as much as possible! I have to go in to work today to prepare for how we’re going to be doing home/online instruction for our students for however long we need to be out. Not going to lie, I’m feeling some anxiety about going in and being around a large group of people! I really think social distancing is the best thing we can all do right now to try to stay healthy and keep this from spreading even more. Wish me luck today! I’m sharing a sweater I wore to work last week, back when work…

    Sherpa Crewneck

I’ve been eyeing this sherpa crewneck all winter and when Abercrombie recently had a sale I grabbed it in the blush pink color! I love how soft and cozy it is, but it’s not too thick, so it’s perfect for cool spring days. I wore it here with jeans, taupe wedge sneakers, and my confetti style layered necklace. I wore it to work the other day with the same necklace and grey pants. It’s so easy to dress up a casual sweater like this one with the right pants and accessories. Sweater: Abercrombie & Fitch (here) | Necklace: Baublebar | Jeans: American Eagle | Sneaker Wedges: Steve Madden via DSW…

    Ocean Drive Graphic Top

This week feels so weird. The students at my school only have a 3 day week because of parent/teacher conferences and then we have Friday off, plus all this Coronavirus craziness. I’m hoping it all starts to calm down soon because it’s just been crazy. In happier news – I want to share this graphic top even though I believe it is sold out. I’m calling it a graphic top and not a sweatshirt, though I think it was listed as that, because it’s thinner than a sweatshirt and thicker than a long sleeve tee. It’s in between so I’m just calling it a top. I love the colors and…

    Tie Dye Thermal Top

My love for tie dye continues this year. I’ve actually already bought multiple tie dye items in the new year. One of them being this tie dye thermal top. I love the green and blue color combo and how subtle the tie dye is. I wore it with my Sofia Vergara ankle length jeans that I’m loving so much and my rose gold star sneakers. Top: Target (here) | Jeans: Sofia Vergara via Walmart (here) | Sneakers: Red Dress Boutique (here) The top has a boxy fit to it, but I like it. I think the boxy cut with the slightly cropped length just works. It’s a thermal style but…
