    Pineapple Envelope Purse

I love cute summer prints as you can tell from the popsicle tee I shared yesterday. Today I’m sharing pineapple print! I got this cute little foldover envelope purse with pineapple print last summer, but didn’t have a chance to show it off on here. Overalls: Kohl’s | Top: American Eagle | Purse: Avenue Be | Shoes: DSW The purse is small, but the perfect size for a small summer bag to take out for lunch or dinner. The zip at the foldover portion offers extra space and I love the delicate gold chain and gold detailing. I paired the purse with my acid wash shortalls and off the shoulder…

    Popsicle Sequin Tee

How was your weekend? I went to see Spiderman: Far From Home on Friday night and I liked it. I thought it was an inventive approach to a villain when it comes to these superhero movies. I wore this tee to the movies because I like being comfortable at the movies and this tee is so casual and fun for summer. The popsicles have sequin detailing and it says “Stick Together” on the tee. For these photos I wore the tee with denim shorts, but to the movies I wore distressed jeggings so I’ve included a few mirror selfies of that outfit. Tee: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Jeggings:…

    Green Asymmetrical Button Dress

Remember when I wrote about my red short sleeve dress with asymmetrical buttons and how I loved the trend? I think I mentioned in that post that I had a spaghetti strap green dress with the same button style and today is the day that I’m sharing it! This green linen dress is perfect for summer and can easily be dressed up or down. The long dress has a front, off-center slit and spaghetti straps. I wore it with fringe flat sandals but you could dress it up with wedges or heels or dress it down with sandals, slip ons, or if you’re really stylish then even white sneakers. Dress:…

    Floral Eyelet Button-Down

Before I get in to this top, I just want to preface this post by saying that I never know whether to call it a button-up or button-down. What do you guys call it? I saw this sweet top at Forever 21 when I was shopping with my cousins in Georgia back in April and I was immediately drawn to it. The delicate eyelet detailing and sweet floral print were the perfect combination for me. It is cropped and has a boxy look to it and although you’d think that would mean it would have an oversized look, I actually sized up 2! I normally wear a small at Forever…

    Tulip Tie Back Tee

I love tulip back tops because the crossover detailing is always so cute. This light pink tee has a tulip back, but also ties at the bottom for an extra detail. I’ve been noticing more tops that tie in the back like this lately, especially casual/loungewear/work out tops. Top: J.Crew | Shorts: American Rag via Macy’s | Sandals: Target | Bracelet: Express I paired this tulip tie back tee with floral shorts, teal sandals, and a pretty overlapping wrap bracelet with a turn-lock closure. I love floral shorts and these go with so many different color tops since the dark floral is sort of subtle and easy to pair with…

    Floral Maxi/Kimono

Any clothing item that can be worn multiple ways is a winner in my book. When I saw these button down maxi dresses being worn on social media I was intrigued, because it could be worn as a dress or as a kimono/duster type sweater. Genius! After looking at a ton of reviews and finding a print that I liked, I got this fun, bright floral print from Amazon. It is a little long, but with wedges, it’s perfect. I love that the buttons don’t go all the way down, but you can also button or leave unbuttoned as many as you want depending on how much leg you want…

    Sheer Embroidered Overlay

I love good details in my clothing and this light pink/bordering on peach sleeveless top with a sheer embroidered overlay just has the perfect details. The overlay is only in the front and only comes halfway down for a cropped overlay look. There are also white stripes to add to the detailing. I loved pairing this with black cropped leggings for a sleeker look than if I had just paired it with shorts. And one of the best parts of the outfit is my new white lock charm double wrap bracelet. Love this bracelet! Top: J.Crew |  Leggings: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Bracelet: Victoria Emerson (here) Currently, the white…

Red, White, & Blue Stripe Romper

Happy 4th of July! Anyone else seriously annoyed with Instagram being down yesterday? I’m writing this post in advance so I’m assuming it is back up now. Fingers crossed. Yesterday, I shared a red, white, & blue patterned smocked tank top and denim shorts for a casual patriotic look. Today, I’m sharing a white romper with red and blue stripes. So simple yet festive! Romper: Pink Lily Boutique (here) | Sandals: Target I love how soft and comfortable this romper is. And I love how the shorts are longer because some rompers are super short! So this is just really comfortable to wear and appropriate for all types of family and…

Red, White, & Blue Smocked Tank

Can you believe it’s the 4th of July tomorrow? In honor of the holiday I’ve got red, white, and blue outfits to share today and tomorrow! So this tank top is labeled as a “western” top, but I don’t know what really qualifies a top as “western” which is why I just named this post “Red, White, & Blue Smocked Tank” since it has smock detailing. It’s super comfortable and I like that the red and white print on it is sort of faded so it’s not too in your face. Since it is more muted, it’s perfect for all summer and not just for patriotic days. I paired the tank…

    Floral Puff Sleeve Swing Dress

I hope everyone’s week is off to a good start so far! This week is full of more appointments for me – basically taking care of all the things I didn’t have time to do during the school year like get my annual physical etc. But, so far this summer break there have been some fun things too like the book event I went to last week for Spin the Dawn. It was a hot day that day that I went in to the city for the book event. Around 90 degrees and sunny. This floral puff sleeve swing dress was a great outfit choice because the swing style meant…
