Foyer/Stairs Update
So remember yesterday when I said I was hoping to wake up feeling much better and wouldn’t have to go to the doctor? Well, I had to go to the doctor and it turns out I have the flu! While it sucks, I’m feeling kind of lucky (so far) because I know a lot of people who get the flu and are absolutely miserable for days and get very very sick. I have been feeling pretty normal aside from the fever and sore throat. Of course, when I went to the doctor yesterday morning my fever was gone and my temperature was the lowest it’s been in days. Isn’t that…

Dining Room Update
I’m back with another renovation/update post and today it’s my dining room. It’s not really a “room” per se since my condo has a pretty open concept to it, but it’s the dining area, let’s say. This room didn’t go through major changes – it’s not like I changed the whole layout or gutted it all – but I did do a few things that changed the whole feel of the room in my opinion. So one thing to note is that since the layout is pretty open, things like the paint color and floor changes are the same for my living room, hallway, stairs – all of which I…

Walk-In Closet Re-Do
A few days ago I shared my kitchen renovation and today I’m sharing my walk-in closet. I’m not calling this a “renovation” and instead calling it a “re-do” because I didn’t really change the whole thing as even though it’s a walk-in it’s got limited space. I just re-did some things and made some changes to maximize the space. This closet is in my master bedroom and is your standard walk-in, but it has a weird shape in the back. Now that I think about it, I think the wall that juts out in the back is from my linen closet in the hall. So when I first got the…

Kitchen Renovation
As many of you know, I recently moved to a condo. And if you’ve been following me for over a year then you might be thinking, you moved again? Yes, I did. I bought and moved in to a townhouse with my brother in June 2018 and then this past summer he bought my share of the townhouse and I bought a condo. I moved back in with my parents while renovations were going on at my condo and just recently moved in. My condo actually was in pretty good shape (aside from a hot water heater leak which I discovered the evening before closing – just in time!) and…
