Restyled: Lace Kimono + Patterned Swing Dress
Just 2 days left to the school year! I can’t believe it! I’m hustling to get all my grading and work done, but so far so good. I’ll finally be able to breathe next week once everything is all done and I go back to work to finish packing up my classroom. In the meantime, today I’m sharing this restyling of a lace kimono and patterned swing dress. Both items are old, but I saw them hanging near each other in my closet the other day and thought they would look great together. Dress: Old Navy | Sandals: Target My lace kimono was a birthday or Christmas gift a few…

Restyled: Deep V Lace + Gold Hoops
If you’ve been following me since earlier this year then you may know I’ve been looking for a pair of medium sized hoops for a while. I thought I had found a great pair from Francesca’s but they broke the first time I tried to wear them. I recently bought a set of 3 from Amazon for $8! They’re pretty good quality for being less than $10 actually. The set consists of silver, gold, and rose gold pairs so they pretty much match any outfit! I wore the gold pair last weekend with a graphic tee with deep v lace paneling in the front and back which I’ve worn on here…

Restyled: Lace Cardigan + Floral Hi-Lo
Yesterday’s outfit that I shared was from when I was sightseeing at Alcatraz and Angel Island during my San Francisco vacation. Today I’m sharing the outfit I wore on my day trip to Monterey, Carmel, and 17-Mile Drive! For this day I knew I wanted to wear something that was comfortable for the drive and also something with layers since I didn’t know what the weather would be like from town to town. I decided to wear leggings so I would be comfortable all day, so I needed to wear a top that would work with them. I wore a long cardigan with a lace bottom and a floral hi-lo…

Blue Floral Lace Trim Dress
This dress has two things I love – florals and lace. It’s like it was practically made for me! When I first saw this dress online, I saw it in white and I immediately loved it. But then, I saw it was offered in blue and I had to decide which color I wanted. The white was what I originally saw and loved, but that blue was pretty too. As you can see I went with the blue. My choice was mainly due to the fact that I wasn’t sure if the white would be see-through. The back of the dress is low which is a really pretty detail for…

Restyled: Lace Cold Shoulder + Grey Boho Satchel
Last year I shared this square shoulder lace cold shoulder top on the blog with distressed jeggings. I restyled it last weekend with leggings and my light grey Moda Luxe boho satchel bag that my cousin gifted me. Top: Vici | Leggings: Nordstrom Rack | Bag: Moda Luxe | Shoes: Red Dress Boutique This was the perfect bag to take with me out and about last week. I was out all day running around so I had the obvious things in it like my wallet and phone, but also a book I’ve been reading, and a sweater. It’s been my go-to bag lately when I’ve got a bunch of places…

Restyled: Heart Pompom Cardigan + Lace Dot Cami
Happy Valentine’s Day! In honor of the heart holiday I wanted to restyle my heart pompom cardigan from last winter. Last year on the blog I styled it with a strappy white tank top with crochet trip. This year I went with a little more color – a pink lace trim dot cami. I’m so happy I bought this cardigan last year – it’s such good quality and super warm. Warm enough that I was not cold in the slightest wearing just a cami underneath in the freezing temps. Cardigan: Chicwish | Cami: Abercrombie & Fitch | Leggings: J.Crew I’ve seen versions of this cardigan back out this winter and I’m…

Christmas Bow Brooch
I don’t remember why, but for some reason I was looking at bows on Etsy. Random, I know, but I really can’t remember why I was looking! Anyway, I came across this bow ribbon with a large beaded heart and it had the perfect Christmas colors – red and green. I thought it would be a perfect accessory for the holidays. Whether pinned to your button down as a sort of tie, on to a sweater as a brooch, or on to your tote bag as a little fun Christmas detail – I thought it would be so fun to work with. During my holiday photoshoot with Lauren, I decided…

Bright Pink for Fall
I love fall colors as much as the next person – give me all the burnt orange, mustards, and marigolds – but sometimes it’s nice to change it up and go for a bright color. This bright pink cardigan is such a fun pop of color and has really pretty detailing at the top with little open dots. To pair with the bright pink cardigan I wore a sheer lace top (with a nude camisole underneath), jeans, and multicolor slip-ons. The shoes are incredibly comfortable and how fun are those colors?! They will pretty much match any outfit (color-wise) because they’re multicolored. Cardigan: Target | Top: American Eagle | Jeans:…

Olive Green Lace
You guys know that I’m the kind of person who will get something I like in multiple colors. Not all the time, but if it’s affordable then there’s a good chance. So when I saw this olive green lace top, I knew I’d love it. It was also on sale and I had a discount code so I bought it in olive green and white. You’ll get a glimpse of the white one in a few days when I post about my new watch. In the meantime I’m sharing this olive green one. I love this lace top because it’s not itchy in the slightest, it’s soft, and has a…
