    Gold Metallic Loafers

Back in the fall I was on a shoe-buying kick. I had thrown out/donated/sold a few pairs and wanted to invest in a few new pairs. You’ve already seen some of the boots I got in various posts on here in the past few weeks, but today I’m sharing these gold metallic loafers. I think they are so chic and can be worn for a casual or more dressed up look. When I saw them on the DSW website, I loved the look of them, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get them. They were on sale and I loved the look, but there were a few reviews…

    Heavy Metal: Metallic Dress

Heavy Metal: Metallic Dress by lifeaccordingtojamie featuring a handbag purse We’re right in the season of holiday parties and I, for one, love to have a reason to get dressed up! When Polyvore had a metallic dress challenge, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to come up with a formal holiday party look. I’m not nearly as a big of a fan of polka dots as I am floral prints, but I’m a fan nonetheless. What makes this button-down with polka dots from JCrew Factory a little more special or different is that they are metallic or foil dots. In some lights this shirt looks black and in some it looks like a dark blue. I guess it depends on the lighting. I got a lot of compliments at work when…

    Metallic Print

I recently wrote about how I’m loving the embellished sweatshirt trend so on my recent dress down day at work I again wore a sweatshirt. A sweatshirt with a pretty print or embellishments really dresses up the whole look and takes it from loungewear comfort to chic comfort. Metallics are also something I like and the combo of this navy blue with the rose gold, metallic print on this sweatshirt is perfect. Top: Gap Jeans: Express   I paired it with a bright tank underneath which I thought was a nice pop of color instead of the standard white or black. The print kind of reminds me of a cross between…
