Gold Metallic Loafers
Back in the fall I was on a shoe-buying kick. I had thrown out/donated/sold a few pairs and wanted to invest in a few new pairs. You’ve already seen some of the boots I got in various posts on here in the past few weeks, but today I’m sharing these gold metallic loafers. I think they are so chic and can be worn for a casual or more dressed up look. When I saw them on the DSW website, I loved the look of them, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get them. They were on sale and I loved the look, but there were a few reviews with low ratings. Upon closer inspection the bad reviews seemed to be based on personal preference and not on the shoe itself (in terms of quality and comfort). One reviewer said that the color she ordered didn’t look like the photo so she returned them. Another person said the shoes were leather which she’s against. Taking this into consideration I decided to order them and I’m so glad I did! They look even better in person and they are seriously so comfortable. I could wear them all day! I’ve worn them to work a few times already and have had no issue walking and standing in them all day.

There are a few different colors available but the gold is the only metallic. The others are suede which I absolutely love the look of especially the navy ones! But I’m on a self-imposed no-buy for the rest of the month since I spent a lot around the holidays. Let’s see if this lasts since I’m such an impulse shopper when it comes to good sales! Although I did go to the mall today with a friend and managed to come home empty handed!
I think these shoes are so fun and the fringe detail is so different especially since the fringe is so long. Like I said above these shoes are super comfortable which makes them even better. They can go with so many different outfits and for these photos I paired them with jeans and a watermelon plaid henley. You’ll be seeing these again many more times I’m sure – in fact I wore them with an outfit that I’m planning to share in a few days!
