Black & White Gingham

The look I’m sharing today was meant to be a little more geared towards fall with a black cardigan over this off the shoulder black & white gingham top. But, like the choker jumpsuit I recently shared, the day I shot this look it was too warm out to wear a sweater. It works out though because without a sweater you can see the white tassels on the sleeves.

Keeping this look black & white helped create a colder weather look so despite the fact that I didn’t get to wear my black sweater as planned with this look, it still doesn’t look summery since it lacks the bright, fun colors I often associate with the warmer months. Gingham is also associated more with summer than fall/winter but since this one is black & white it also helps it transition into the cooler weather easier.

It’s definitely starting to be consistently cooler now – still not cold really. But I’m excited to wear and share more real fall looks!
