Restyled: Hi-Lo Plaid + Mint Statement Earrings
A sure-fire way to make a very casual outfit look trendier or “nicer” is to add some jewelry. Wanderlust Shorts
Patterned shorts are so cute and fun, but admittedly can be hard to style unless you’ve got a lot of solid color tops in various colors. However, when I saw these wanderlust shorts or shorties as Aerie calls them, with the ruched drawstring detail on the sides for sale earlier this summer I had to have them. I don’t know what it is about Mint and Navy Blue but they go so well together. I recently spotted this top on the J.Crew Factory website and it looked perfect for work with it’s wide navy blue and mint green stripes and kelly green neck tie. Restyled: Tweed Skirt
Yesterday reached into the high 80s which is a scorcher for April. It’s supposed to be in the 80s again today but back to the 60s tomorrow. So since we’re not officially into summer weather yet, it’s safe to share this tweed skirt I restyled recently. Last year when I shared it on here, I wore it with a white cashmere sweater, cream knit tights, and brown slouchy boots. Mint + Statement Necklace Love
I’ve mentioned countless times on here that green is my favorite color – all shades of green. But, mint green really is one of the top shades if not the top. Mint Cream Bucket Bag
Bucket bags have come back into fashion in the past few months. When they were last popular (I believe in the 90s) I didn’t really get the hype and didn’t think I’d ever want one.
