Wanderlust Shorts

Patterned shorts are so cute and fun, but admittedly can be hard to style unless you’ve got a lot of solid color tops in various colors. However, when I saw these wanderlust shorts or shorties as Aerie calls them, with the ruched drawstring detail on the sides for sale earlier this summer I had to have them. The colors are right up my alley and the pattern was so summery and pretty! Luckily, the color scheme is one of my favorites so I knew I could wear it with plenty of different tops.

I can pair these shorties with white, pink, peach, cream, and maybe purple tops. But for this post I decided to stick with the same color scheme and wore a mint green sleeveless top with pinched stitching detailing at the top. It’s a very minty look, but I love it for a casual, summer day!
