Mint Cream Bucket Bag

Bucket bags have come back into fashion in the past few months. When they were last popular (I believe in the 90s) I didn’t really get the hype and didn’t think I’d ever want one. Fast forward to 2016 and the look of them has completely grown on me to the point where I wanted one myself. Many bucket bags are quite large and typically I don’t carry that much with me. I find it really annoying to have a large purse when I’m not carrying much with me because it feels silly to have three items swimming around a huge space. So when I saw that J.Crew Factory had small bucket bags I knew that would be perfect for me. The fact that they offered the bag in a mint cream color was the clincher.

This bucket bag is the perfect size for me. It comfortably fit my large wallet, phone, and keys and had room to spare. Not so big that my items were floating around and not so small that I was struggling to pull the drawstring tassels closed. As you know, green is my favorite color (any shade of it) and so naturally I adore the mint cream green color of this bag. The bag offered a nice subtle pop of color to my otherwise neutral outfit.
