    Heart Pavé Necklace

I participated in #BlackOutTuesday yesterday on Instagram and only posted on my stories and Twitter with information, resources, news articles etc. I plan to address this on my feed today, but on my Instagram feed I am planning to go back to my normal content photos today. But I want to make clear that just because my photos may be my own and not about current social issues, does not mean that I am not a supporter of the movement and against all forms of racism and police brutality. I feel the best way for me to serve, besides practicing what I preach, signing petitions, donating where I can etc.…

    Buddha Wheel Pendant

It’s the start of a new week and while I have a little case of the normal Monday blues, I’m hoping this week is much better than the blah week I had last week. Let’s start off the week with good vibes. I love coin jewelry and when I saw this Buddha Wheel one I thought it was something different than the normal greek coin jewelry. I don’t know a lot about Buddhism, but I looked up the symbolism of the wheel, also known as the Dharma Wheel. There is a ton of information on it, but to keep this short and simple the wheel is depicted with eight spokes…

    Panther Faux Leather Bag

I love a good statement bag, but they’re usually too loud or crazy for me to invest money in. How often would I really wear it out? I’ve written in the past about some of the Kate Spade statement bags which are always incredibly fun to look at, but not practical enough for me to buy. Would I love a Kate Spade bag that is shaped like a wicker elephant? Of course! But will I pay $400 for it? Sadly, no. So when I saw this faux leather bag from TopShop that has a enamel panther detail I had to have it! It’s subtle, but still so cool, fun, and…

    Love Knot Earrings

Before I talk about these earrings, I have some exciting news to share! My ongoing Wattpad teen fiction story shot up yesterday to #2 in the “Identity” category out of 5,700 stories! I’m so excited!! Here is the link to the story if you want to check it out! When I saw this love knot earrings from Kendra Scott, I thought they were so dainty and pretty. The remind me of earrings I had when I was a kid that I got as a gift from my parents or aunt or someone. The design is so simple, but beautiful. I love that it comes in 3 finishes – I picked rose…

    Pisa Customizable Beaded Bracelets

Did you ever make beaded bracelets when you were little with beads/bead kits from the craft store? I made a few – I wasn’t super in to making jewelry – and I honestly can’t remember what words I made using the lettered beads. Maybe my name? When I saw that Baublebar was making customizable beaded bracelets just like those kids made back in the 90s, but fancier, I instantly liked them. For the Pisa bracelets, you can customize the lettered beads up to 12 characters with anything you want (within reason). I spent a few days thinking about what words I wanted to do. It wasn’t just a meaningful word…

    Stocking Stuffer Gift Guide

For my stocking stuffer gift guide, I wanted to think of items that would actually fit in a stocking. I see so many stocking stuffer gift ideas that float around the internet where I’m like what size stocking do you have? I mean, when I was younger my parents would put little gifts inside my stocking (hence stocking stuffers) and a few gifts below the stocking on the fireplace as well as presents under the tree. But presents under the stockings are presents, not stocking stuffers! So that’s why I wanted to keep my ideas for you guys items that would actually fit in a stocking. My stocking holder is the…

    November 2019 Favorites

Somehow we’re already in the last month of 2019. Of the decade, too! I have a bunch of favorites from November, but most of them are from tv. There have just been so many things on tv that I loved in November. So let’s get to it. First, I’ve been loving my new Quay Australia sunglasses I got early in the month. It’s been a while since I’ve gotten new sunglasses and I love these. I love the rainbow look of the lenses in the top pair and the rounded shape of the pink pair on the bottom. My next favorite is perfume – Nirvana Black from the Elizabeth &…

    September 2019 Favorites

I don’t know why but I keep thinking that October is a week away and then I’m thrown off every time I realize it’s a lot sooner than that. Like as in tomorrow. September has been really busy, but I’ve still got some favorites to share with you. First up is my new Coach wallet. My wallet before this one was a Vera Bradley one in a pink floral print and it lasted me a few years but it was getting real rough looking so I was due for a new wallet. I got this one for my birthday and I don’t see this exact one on the website anymore, but…

    Beaded Bracelet Stack

By now I’m sure you know I am a fan of The Styled Collection. They have great quality jewelry for really reasonable prices. And all their pieces are really on trend and even dupes for high end brands like David Yurman cable bracelets and Cartier Love bracelets. A little while back I saw that they started selling beaded bracelets that are perfect for stacking. The Seychelle Bracelets have average size beads with a gold chainlink detail. The Santorini Bracelets are thin bracelets with small beads and have some gold detailing. A variety of colors are available and I wish I could buy them all! In the end I picked out…

    Octagonal Hoops

Happy Wednesday! We’re halfway through the week and it’s been a busy one and will continue to be so it’s just a quick blog post from me today. Months ago I talked about (either on here or on Instagram Stories) that I was looking for a pair of hoop earrings. Dainty, not chunky, but medium to large in size. I bought , what I thought, were really pretty hoops from Francesca’s, but they broke! They broke the first time I tried to wear them. So I was on the hunt for a new pair of earrings and I came across these unique ones from Baublebar. The octagonal shape is so…
