    Basta Pasta

Happy Friday! I hope your week has been good so far. It’s been another busy week for me. Lots going on, people to see and hang out with, work to do, and a beach photoshoot with Lauren (which turned out great by the way!) but it’s been a pretty good week! Today I’ve got more work to do and some chores to do, but I’m hopefully seeing Spiderman: Far From home tonight so I’ll let you know what I think! If you remember, I recently wrote about my time at the book launch party for Spin the Dawn in the city. After the event, I went to dinner at Basta Pasta.…

  • Fig & Olive - Crostini

    Fig & Olive

Ah Sunday already. I’m not ready for the weekend to end! And it doesn’t help to know that my next holiday or day off from work (minus weekends) isn’t until April. Should I be wishing for another snow day even though we used up our built in days? Anyway, if you remember back in December I went in to the city (New York City) to see the Downton Abbey Exhibition and saw the tree at Rockefeller Center etc. For dinner my family and I went to Fig & Olive. There are a few locations around the city and two in California, but this was my first time. We went to the 5th…

With that in mind, we ordered a few things to share and we were not disappointed! We ordered the poutine, of course with my cousins originally being from Canada they wanted to try it out. It is not on the lunch menu, but my cousin had seen it on one of their menus online I think and they were kind enough to…

  • Bareburger

Yesterday I wrote about seeing Anastasia on Broadway and today I have not one, but two posts also from the day. First up is this short review of my lunch at Bareburger. My friend suggested we eat there because she had once before and really liked it. So we found a location near the theater and headed there for lunch before the show. Everything at Bareburger is organic and all-natural, which is so great. I love that it’s an eco-conscious restaurant! I ordered a side salad, the Kail Caesar and the American Burger. Both were delicious, but the salad really was one of the best salads I’ve ever had! This beautiful and scrumptious salad had…
