Today is my first day off for Thanksgiving break and I am ecstatic! I have my monthly massage planned this morning and then Christmas decorating at my condo, plus prepping food and cleaning for Thanksgiving. It’s going to be a busy day, but a welcome break from work. The look I’m sharing today is one that I wore over the weekend when I met up with my friend for dinner. You know I’m all about the florals, lace, and ruffles, and this sheer floral blouse has all of those things. Plus a neck tie which is a bonus. Top: H&M (here) | Jeans: Express (here) | Shoes: Clarks via DSW (here)…

    Smocked Off-the-Shoulder Top

Happy Wednesday! This week has felt pretty slow so far so we’ll see how the rest of the week goes. Today, I’m sharing the last look from my evening photoshoot with Lauren over the summer in Asbury Park. This look is so fun and definitely perfect for a night out! I wore a printed black front tie off-the-shoulder top with black ripped jeans and bejeweled wedge sandals. This top is so pretty and the details are so fun. It has smock detailing on the top so it’s nice and stretchy and will basically fit a range of bust sizes. The tie at the bust is adjustable too which is so…

    Embellished Side Stripe Leggings

Last week I shared my deep-v  ruffle romper that I shot with Lauren during our evening shoot. I mentioned in that post that it was really hot out and that the pasties I wore slid off due to the heat and my sweating. Well, this outfit is actually the outfit I was wearing when they started to slide off! I literally had to discreetly take them off my stomach where they had started to slide and stuff them in my waistband until I could put them in my bag! These embellished side stripe leggings are so fun and glam. While it may look like the side stripes are sequins, they…

    Flutter Heart Ruffle Romper

My photoshoots with Lauren are always fun and the shoot this outfit is from was no exception, but it was a different vibe than we’ve done in the past. I wanted to do some going out/night time looks so we decided to meet up right around sunset to get some of that evening/blue light look. The photos turned out so good! It was definitely worth the sweating to death trying to get changed in the backseat of my car. And worth the nasty bruise I got on my knee which I think must’ve happened from hitting my knee on my center console or something. For my first look I wore…

    Multicolored Skirt Keyhole Dress

If you caught my Instastories over the weekend you may have seen the sneak peek I posted of this dress. This one: Let me just start off by saying I absolutely love this dress and it was the perfect dress for me! So back in March or April I was looking for a dress for my friends’ weddings. I bought 2 dresses from Lord & Taylor for 2 of the 3 weddings I had coming up – I planned to re-wear a dress from a few years ago to the other wedding. Two weeks ago I shared the black & gold dress I wore to wedding #2 of the spring,…

    Metallic Flower Illusion Dress

Happy Memorial Day! I hope you’ve all been having a great weekend. So if you’ve been keeping up with my recent posts you’ll know I had 3 weddings within 4 weeks to go to. This past weekend was wedding #2. If you watch my Instagram stories then you might have seen all my videos and photos from the wedding festivities Friday night and all day Saturday. It was a really fun time, but I was so tired yesterday! During the day I wore an old green dress with back cutouts that I’ve worn a few times before. I wore it with my embellished boxy purse and rose gold espadrilles. But…

    Sequins + Tulle

If you watched my Instastories over the weekend you probably caught one of my various photos and videos from my friend’s beautiful wedding. Today I’m sharing my wedding guest look! I began looking for a dress for the wedding in the late spring because I didn’t know how long it would take me to find one I liked, plus I would be away for a week at the beginning of July and I didn’t want to be rushing and stressed to find something. I didn’t quite know what I wanted, but I did know that I what I really wanted was something with mixed textures i.e. solid top and feathered skirt.…

    Dark Floral + Lace Sleeves

Okay, I know I share a lot of dresses on here and I pretty much always say I love the dress, but I really love the dress I’m sharing today. It just might be my current favorite dress in my closet. Earlier in the spring I was at the mall and had no plans to stop inside New York & Company but as I walked by a dress caught my eye in the window. It wasn’t this particular dress, but since my attention was grabbed I then saw all the 50% off signs so I had to go in of course! I picked up a few items like the Love Lace-Up top…

    Clara Silk Chiffon

It’s back to work for me today after a long weekend away for my friend’s wedding and visiting family. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen a few photos. The wedding was for my oldest friend in the world. We’ve known each other and been good friends since we were toddlers! Today, I’m sharing my wedding guest look. I wore a silk chiffon dress I got on sale from J.Crew Factory in the shade “dark cove” called the “Clara” dress. It is a rich blue color with a sweetheart neckline and blue sheer see-through material at the décolletage, shoulders, and shoulder blades/upper back in the back. The…

    3 Dresses, 1 Wedding Weekend

Over the weekend I went to my friend’s beautiful wedding. This is the same friend who I gave a shoutout to in a post way back in 2014 who I said has an affinity for elbow patches! So anyway, her wedding was this past weekend with various events leading up to the ceremony and reception. I did not attend all the events, but I did attend her Mehndi on Friday night (where we ate dinner, socialized, and got our henna done), the ceremony on Sunday morning, and the reception Sunday night. With all these events, I of course, wore 3 different dresses so I thought this was a great opportunity to share with…
