Metallic Flower Illusion Dress
Happy Memorial Day! I hope you’ve all been having a great weekend. So if you’ve been keeping up with my recent posts you’ll know I had 3 weddings within 4 weeks to go to. This past weekend was wedding #2. If you watch my Instagram stories then you might have seen all my videos and photos from the wedding festivities Friday night and all day Saturday. It was a really fun time, but I was so tired yesterday! During the day I wore an old green dress with back cutouts that I’ve worn a few times before. I wore it with my embellished boxy purse and rose gold espadrilles. But this post is about my dress for the evening.
For the reception I wore a black and gold dress that fit perfectly. It’s a black dress with gold metallic floral detailing and and illusion top.

This dress fit perfectly. Seriously, like a glove. If I weighed just a few pounds more I don’t think I would’ve been able to wear it! The dress is so pretty. I love the illusion neckline and the gold metallic floral detailing is so incredibly beautiful. The details are stunning and I love the midi length.
I kept my jewelry simple for the look because I didn’t want to take away from the gold metallic design. I wore crossed double gold hoops that I’ve had for years from Express and black peep toe heels which I’ve also had for years. Lastly, I used my black and gold clutch that again, I’ve had for years. It’s one of my favorite, if not the favorite, clutch I own. The black and gold design goes with so many different looks.
I curled my hair in between the morning ceremony and the cocktail hour and I will probably do the same thing for wedding #3 in 2 weeks.
I absolutely love this dress. I loved wearing it as much as I loved looking at the gold floral detailing.
The dress I’ll be wearing for wedding #3 is totally different from this one. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, my clothing tastes and fashion style are so wide ranging so I can’t wait to show you my next dress and how it’s such a different style but still gorgeous!
