Embellished Mock Layer Sweater
Today I’m sharing my favorite new sweater of the season – this embellished mock layer sweater. I love that it is long enough to wear with leggings, because anything you can wear with leggings is a winner in my book! The mock layer helps with this too. The embellishment at the neckline is so pretty and not too elaborate. And to complete the amazing-ness of this sweater it has a loose honeycomb style pattern. Red Plaid + Lace Top
It’s time for my first fashion/OOTD post of the new year! Sorry (or not sorry) to say it’s from 2015 though. This is an easy look I put together for dinner weeks ago. It really is a look that was just thrown together, but because the back of this cute and bright, red plaid top features lace, it makes the look seem less casual and less like I didn’t put a ton of thought into it. Paisley Skater Skort
Two trends I’m loving are skater skirts and over-the-knee boots. So I ordered a few skater skirts from ASOS a while ago. I got 2 solid-colored skirts and 1 paisley. Now, the info for the paisley one (and I double checked) said “skirt” so I was surprised to find upon receiving it that it was actually a skort! No complaints from me though because I love skorts and I actually think it makes this piece look even better because it makes the pleats more prominent.
