I love taking advantage of this time to break out my Christmas sweatshirts, sweaters, and other clothing that has Christmas-y colors. Side Button Pencil Skirt
It’s another button filled day with the skirt I’m sharing today. Yesterday I shared a sweater with black piping and button detailing. Today I’m sharing a grey pencil skirt with black side button detailing. It’s super comfortable and perfect for work. And the best part is that it is stretchy and a pull-on skirt! I paired this skirt with a chartreuse sweater. It was too long to wear untucked and too bulky to tuck in, so I tied it up in a twist with a hair tie and tucked it under. Restyled: Plush Jersey Pencil Skirt
Back in 2016 I shared this plush jersey pencil skirt and I recently wore it to work so I thought it’d be fun to share a restyling since I haven’t done one of those on the blog in a while. Yesterday was my first full day in The Cape (Cape Cod) and I’ll be writing all about it in tomorrow’s post, but it was a good day. Plush Jersey Pencil Skirt
I love the look of pencil skirts, but I don’t wear them often because I don’t always find them to be the most practical work style staple. Why? Because I’m walking around, standing, sitting, standing, sitting, walking some more, all day long as a teacher so I need to be comfortable. While most skirts can be comfortable, pencil skirts aren’t always because they are more constricting. Pencil skirts are a favorite work look of mine for the fall. I think no matter what kind of top you’re wearing, a pencil skirt automatically dresses up a look.
