Side Button Pencil Skirt
It’s another button filled day with the skirt I’m sharing today. Yesterday I shared a sweater with black piping and button detailing. Today I’m sharing a grey pencil skirt with black side button detailing. It’s super comfortable and perfect for work. And the best part is that it is stretchy and a pull-on skirt! I paired this skirt with a chartreuse sweater. It was too long to wear untucked and too bulky to tuck in, so I tied it up in a twist with a hair tie and tucked it under. Sweater: American Eagle | Skirt: LOFT (here) | Tights: American Eagle | Boots: DSW I paired the skirt and…

Floral Embroidered Zip Skirt
It’s no secret that I love florals. I’ve also been vocal about my love for exposed zippers, but since I wear a lot more florals than I do pieces with exposed zippers you may have missed the memo. When I saw this skirt on the LOFT website around the holidays I knew it was for me. Floral embroidery? Check. Exposed zipper? Check. And while I love exposed zippers in the back, the fact that this skirt has an exposed zipper down the middle of the front of the skirt makes it so much more fun. I paired the grey skirt with a blue top with lantern sleeves, which I wore…

Tiled Jacquard Skirt
Let’s just start this post off with me professing my love for this tiled jacquard skirt. It is so pretty, has the softest texture, and is so comfortable! It’s a win all around really. I recently wore it to work with knit tights, burgundy booties, a tiered light pink blouse, and white cardigan. I know it seems like a lot going on in one outfit, but I think it all worked together for a winter friendly work outfit. Cardigan: Chadwick’s | Blouse: H&M | Skirt: LOFT | Tights: Macy’s | Boots: DSW The tiled jacquard design is so beautiful and the colors are perfect. The colors and design of this…

Copper Metallic Pleated Skirt
I’m seriously reveling in the fact that it’s just Saturday now meaning I still have 2 days before I have to go back to work. This little break has been so nice to recharge. Hopefully the weekend won’t pass too quickly! Today’s post features the outfit I wore on Thanksgiving two days ago – a pale pink lace trimmed blouse (not new to the blog) and a copper metallic pleated midi skirt. I am loving this entire outfit, especially this skirt – the star of the show. When I got this skirt a few months ago I immediately knew I wanted to wear it for Thanksgiving. The copper color just…

Watermelon Pop Eyelet Skirt
I don’t wear skirts very often, just because I find dresses to be so much easier to wear. But, I am trying to make more of an effort to wear them because they’re great for work. I wore this eyelet skirt to work a few weeks ago in this bright watermelon pop color. The eyelet design in this skirt features large circles which is different than how I normally see or picture eyelet. I paired it with a plain white, sleeveless top and taupe cardigan. For shoes, I chose a light beige t-strap heel. All the clothing pieces here are LOFT, my watch is Michael Kors, and shoes are from…
