    Red Purses

I normally pick neutral colors for my bags and purses so that I can get the most use out of them. Sticking to blacks, tans, and creams is always a good idea to keep things classic. But sometimes you want a more vibrant color for a pop of color and/or to add a bold color to your look. My cousin gifted me a red Adrienne Vittadini satchel and I wore it out recently with my rainbow stripe sweater. This purse is still available if you’re interested, but I also found 7 other red purses that look fabulous! Sweater: Nordstrom | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Boots: UGG (here)…

    Stripe Mock Neck Sweater Dress

I love a good sweater dress – especially if it’s cozy. I recently got rid of some old sweater dresses of mine so I was browsing to restock and found this striped mock neck sweater dress. It looked great online so I ordered it and I’m so glad I did! It’s so soft and has a decent thickness/weight to it so it’s nice and warm! I wore it here with taupe over-the-knee boots, but I wore it to work the other day with off-white lace tights and brown slouchy boots. Dress: Kohl’s (here) |Boots: DSW love the ribbed detail of the dress. It gives it a little something extra to the…

    Striped Oversized Waffle Knit

Happy Friday! This first week back to work hasn’t been too bad, but I’ve been extremely tired every single day. Hopefully after this weekend I can start feeling normal again. I love a good waffle knit sweater. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who said they didn’t like waffle knit. I love that this waffle knit is a striped one and not just regular stripes. There are white and beige wide stripes and thin bright pink stripes breaking them up. I love the colors! I front tucked it in to a pair of distressed high-waisted jeggings and wore my lace up UGGs. I finished off the look with my…

    Mixed Stripe Boxy Sweater

I’ve been really liking cropped length sweaters lately, but rest assured I never let my stomach show – I just pair the shorter sweaters with tops underneath, bodysuits, and/or high-waisted pants. Brown and teal may not seem like the most obvious color combo, but it somehow works. I wore this color block/mixed stripe boxy sweater with a loose fitting tank top underneath and brown leggings. Sweater: American Eagle | Leggings: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Tank Top: Loft | Boots: UGG I would have preferred to wear this with brown boots, but I only packed these black UGGs for my brief getaway to Hershey. I really like this whole…

    Striped Plush Sweater

I’m officially on winter break! However, I’m not sleeping in today and basking in my winter break glory. I have a hair appointment this morning and have a lot to do today. But first, this sweater that I wore earlier in the week. Technically, this top isn’t called a plush sweater but it is a thicker, buttery soft top that I can only describe it as plush. The stripes in some lights look black, but up close it looks navy blue. It might not sound like an amazing combo, but when you see this top with the navy blue stripes against the beige it looks really good. Top: LOFT  (here)| Pants:…

Pink & Red Striped Funnel Neck

How is your weekend going? I went on a holiday outing with friends last night. We went to a drive-through holiday light show that’s really popular around here. I haven’t been since I was a kid and it’s gotten a lot better since then. However, I guess everyone had the same idea because the traffic was insane. It was pretty, but wasn’t as enjoyable since we were hardly moving and I felt so car sick from the stop and go. I’ll share some photos in a blog post later on this month along with some photos of other outings hopefully. Speaking of things that are pretty, but ended up a…

    Cozy Graphic Tee

So this graphic tee technically falls in the category of fall graphic tee as I had gotten it back in the early fall and it’s literally called “Fall Fun Graphic Tee”. But I think the graphics are actually more suited toward winter with its cozy images like coffee, hot soup, candles, beanies, tea, etc. I wore it last week with a long rainbow cardigan, which admittedly, is not the most wintery look, but I thought it was a nice pop of color against the grey and to go with the pinks and greens in the graphic print. I wore it with black leggings and grey slip ons for a casual,…

Happy Thanksgiving! What are your plans for the holiday? In recent years Thanksgiving has become my favorite holiday. What’s not to love? Delicious food, reflecting on what you’re thankful for, and kicking off the Christmas season for real. While I love love love Christmas, it’s always the build up to Christmas that is most fun for me. By the time you get to Christmas day I feel deflated because it’s all over! But Thanksgiving is when I start decorating for Christmas and shopping for it etc., so it’s the fun, happy part of the holiday season – not the sad it’s over part. Does that make sense? Anyway, I wore this…

    Pastel Striped Sweatshirt

My weekend looks lately have been all about the cozy comfies. I’m so glad that comfy clothes are so stylish these days! Seriously, I wore this grey sweatshirt with pastel color block stripes last weekend with leggings and headband. Then, my friends invited me out to dinner and I didn’t even feel the need to change. Perfect outfit for running errands, hanging around the house, and then going out with friends for dinner. Sweatshirt: American Eagle | Leggings: Express (here) | Headband: Amazon (here) | Shoes: Red Dress Boutique I love the colors of the stripes in this simple sweatshirt. They’re kind of pastel-y, but also great for fall with the…

    Oversized Striped Button Up

Are the leaves still gorgeously vibrant on the trees where you live? Most of the leaves have fallen off the trees here after the frigid last few days, sadly. I wish fall didn’t go by so quickly! But I do have a bunch of fall photos left to share with you all so I can savor the oranges, red, and golds for a bit longer albeit through photos only. The first outfit from my fall photoshoot with Lauren was an oversized striped button up, cropped jeans, and faux suede flats. And by oversized, I mean really oversized. The sleeves are big and flowy and the length is tunic length. I front…
