Betting On You by @lynnpainterbooks is her latest Betting On You by @lynnpainterbooks is her latest YA romcom and it was so good! 📖 The novel follows Bailey and Charlie, both seniors in high school who actually met a few years earlier when they were sitting next to each other on a plane. Bailey found Charlie irritating and Charlie loved riling her up on the flight. Now they’re both working at Planet Funnn – a new hotel that has an indoor amusement park and other fun things like a movie theater and more 🎟️. When they had met a few years earlier, Charlie told Bailey he doesn’t believe men and women can be friends. Not believing that to be true, Bailey has no problem trying to be Charlie’s friend when they become coworkers. Bonding over common interests and both being children of divorce, the two become super close. Their new closeness also involves Charlie helping Bailey drive a wedge between her mom and her mom’s new boyfriend who seems to be over all the time 🙄. Add in fun banter and some fake dating and a little bit of emotion and heartache and you’ve got Betting On You! 🩷 I loved this book and absolutely loved Bailey and Charlie! As per all Lynn Painter books, both Adult and YA alike, the banter she writes is so good! 💕I loved the humor and the tension between the two of them and just want to bottle them up! 💕 Bailey was so lovable and Charlie is hilarious and swoon worthy 😍. Read this if you want a YA romcom with the friends to lovers and fake dating tropes and lots of witty banter! Christmas in Coconut Creek by @karissakinwordwrite Christmas in Coconut Creek by @karissakinwordwrites was such a fun read and my favorite Christmas read so far this season! 🎄📚The novel follows Ophelia and Frankie. Ophelia lives in Colorado but takes a few weeks off work to visit her best friend in Florida for the holidays. Just for fun, she spends her time at the airport playing around on a dating app when she matches with a good looking guy who is former military. And that guy just so happens to be sitting next to her on the plane. There is definite chemistry, but just when the two think they'll never see each other again, they learn that Ophelia's best friend and Frankie's best friend/roommate are a couple so they will be spending a lot of time together for the next few weeks. ✈️ I loved Ophelia, Frankie, Natalia, and Matteo! I loved Ophelia and Frankie together. Their banter was so fun. It was really beautiful to watch their relationship grow and how they went from individuals who felt very solitary in many ways to realizing they could rely on each other too. 🥹🩷 The book is filled with laughs, banter, spice, and also a couple emotional moments that did have my heart aching at times!🩷 This is the first book the Dirty Delta series which is going to follow Frankie’s other best friends from Delta Team. I can’t wait!📖 Read this if you want a spicy Christmas romcom with the friends with benefits to lovers trope!
