Photo Challenge: Twinkle

The example The Daily Post used this week for their photo challenge for “Twinkle” was of a beautiful Christmas ornament. While I usually try to do something different than the example given, I just couldn’t resist also sharing a twinkle from my own Christmas tree given Christmas is in less than a week!

I love all Christmas decorations – ornaments, wreaths, garland, nutcrackers, etc., but especially Christmas lights. So the pretty ornaments lit up by the lights is the picture of twinkling happiness to me. I especially love the way the lights hit the ornaments that have some glitter on them. It gives that extra sparkle that embodies that magical feeling I love about the holiday.
