Unplanned Shopping Trip & Haul

So this past Friday I really had no intention of shopping, yet it ended up happening – let me explain! A girl friend and I had talked about going to see Into the Woods since before winter break began. We made plans to go this past Friday to a matinee show. When we got there, about 20 minutes before the movie, we walked into the theater (inside a small mall nearby) and saw wall to wall people! Seriously, it’s like everyone decided to go to the movies that day. We couldn’t believe it – it was 1 in the afternoon! Needless to say, the movie was sold out and the next showing was until 3 hours later so we decided to buy tickets for later in the weekend. What did we do since we couldn’t see the movie? Shop, of course!

In my defense, I was going to go to Old Navy sometime this weekend to buy some new camisoles because I saw that they were $5 there. I walked into Forever 21 and found a whole table of camisoles for $1.90! What?! So I picked up a few different colors. Then, we went to Macy’s and I found this adorable top for 50 or 60% off, I don’t remember exactly, but I do know that it was on sale for I think $19.

And of course, our outing wasn’t complete without a snack so we got some Auntie Anne’s Pretzels.

There’s my little unplanned shopping haul. Glad I found some great deals and now I don’t need to make a trip to Old Navy. And fear not, I will be posting my thoughts on Into the Woods soon!
