3 Quotes in 3 Days: Day 1
Happy Friday! Tezzy from The Tezzy Files nominated me for the 3 Quotes in 3 Days challenge. If you haven’t visited her blog before, you should definitely check it out. She writes so many incredible restaurant reviews that always have me drooling and wanting to hop a plane to Dubai right away!
The quote I chose for Day 1 is from one of my all-time favorite books To Kill a Mockingbird.
I love this quote said by Attitcus Finch to his children about courage. Courage isn’t about having a gun in your hand or having more physical force than someone else, but to know that you’re “licked before you begin but you begin anyway.” Knowing that the odds are stacked against you, but you try anyway? That’s real courage.
I also chose this quote because Harper Lee’s novel Go Set a Watchman is going to be released in a few days. If you don’t know, Harper Lee actually wrote this novel before To Kill a Mockingbird with an adult Scout coming back to Maycomb to visit her father Atticus, but her publishers felt a more successful story would be Scout retelling a story about her childhood and so To Kill a Mockingbird was born.
Rules:
- Post 3 of your favorite quotes each per day for 3 recurrent days. The quotes can be of any other people or it may come straight from your own heart.
- Nominate 3 bloggers with each post to challenge them.
- Don’t forget to utter a thankful word to the person who nominated you.
My Nominees:
Thanks again to Tezzy for nominating me to take part in this challenge!

Oh great! It will be a while until I can read it so hopefully I don’t find out too much. I will probably read the original again first.
